Love my Monster Mill 2 roller I got back around 2011. I went with the 2" hardened steel rollers and hopper extension at purchase. I highly recommend getting the extension unless you actually LIKE refilling the hopper for bigger grain bills. Last year I went from using a drill to run it to their motor setup.

The mill now devours corn and gives a beautiful crack with little flour. I can still adjust the gap down to crack smaller grains like rye or malted barley. Midwest Supplies should offer these bushing as an accessory. It would take minimal effort for their supplier to change the bushing placement in the knobs.

The first 2 rollers are mashing grain while the 1st and 3rd are crushing grain, so I am just thinking it may be harder to hand crank or maybe need a bit stronger drill than would be needed for a 2 roller mill. Just my thoughts but may be something to ask about. nate42 January 2, 2013, 4:38pm #9.

BIAB, batch sparge, fly sparge? I guarantee you will love conditioning if you fly sparge. If you BIAB or batch sparge, I think you can get away with a 2roller mill very tight, without conditioning, and still get great extraction and no sticking issues. If you fly sparge, look into conditioning with a 2roller mill. that is my opinion.
